Open silver display case framing an empty dark interior

SYAVEL-003 / GENESIS WORK

NOTHING TO DECLARE

An empty frame gives absence the ceremony of treasure.

$299 USD PROPOSED FIXED INITIAL PRICE · NOT AN ACTIVE OFFER

A NOTE ON THE WORK

A carefully opened case presents nothing. Its frame, hinges and theatrical lighting give absence the treatment usually reserved for treasure. The empty space leaves the viewer to decide which invisible things would be hardest to leave behind.
